When shipping a relatively small amount of household goods such as one or two rooms of furniture, we pack the items into a wooden case or "Liftvan".

Exclusive containers, which are steel boxes, come in four sizes: 20 foot, 40 foot, 40 foot high-cube, and 45 high-cube. The most commonly used sizes are 20 foot and 40 foot. 20 foot containers hold the equivalent of three to four rooms of furniture (approx. 1000 cubic feet) while 40 foot containers hold the equivalent of four to seven rooms (approximately 2000 cubic feet). The advantage of container shipping is the added safety it provides by shipping your household goods in a steel container.

Containerization limits handling and exposure of your goods, there by reducing possible damage. We seal the container in your presence when possible and ship it to your front door; in most instances, with the same seal intact when the container reaches its final destination

Air freight offers the quickest transit time at a premium price when compared to ocean freight. However, weight, size, and destination must be taken into consideration.

Air freight should be considered when you have to meet a deadline. As a rule,it is more economical to forward only essential items such as clothing while shipping the balance of your home by ocean freight. Air freight for overseas relocations is usually utilized for small shipments or for items required urgently at destination.
